Volunteer North Shore is the volunteer centre for City of North Vancouver, the District of North Vancouver, the District West Vancouver, Lions Bay and Bowen Island. The centre helps find volunteers for organizations that need them and helps people who want to volunteer find volunteer positions. Approximately 150 non-profit or service organizations list their volunteer requests with the centre. Volunteer North Shore also assists non-profit organizations with their volunteer programs and promotes voluntarism generally.

Volunteers are wonderful people who inspire and help our communities. Each year Volunteer North Shore recognizes and celebrates local volunteers who make valuable contributions to community organizations. If you know someone who volunteers and would like to nominate him/her please fill out and submit the nomination form below. Award recipients are presented with a Community Volunteer Spirit Award during National Volunteer Week in April. |
