Walk and Talks

New date! Every 4th Monday of the month at 1:30PM. Upcoming walks: January 23 and February 27.

Cultivating Balance For Persian Caregivers
(ongoing group each third Tuesday of the month. Primarily in Farsi language)

Feb 21st, 2017:  Katayoun and guests will speak on developing resilience as it relates to the impact of significant global events. The mind-body connection will also be explored, along with ideas on how to strengthen your mental health through physical and mental exercise.

March 21st, 2017: Join us for a NowRuz celebration! 5-7PM on the 3rd floor at City Library, 120 West 14th Street, North Vancouver.
The festivities will include a potluck meal, music, dancing, and a short presentation on love, forgiveness and the history of NowRuz.

Healthy boundaries can help you prevent burnout. Dynamics from the past can cause guilt and resentment. Join us to learn how to make healthy boundaries and respect what you can do, and ways to connect and spend meaningful time with your loved one. Our guest speaker Catherine Pigeon James is a psychotherapist, registered clinical counsellor and social worker. She works in an out-patient mental health program at the Hope Centre.
